About Ms. White
Megan White will be graduating in May of 2012 from Towson University. She will be graduating with a BS in Art Education, Maryland Certification K-12, and a minor in Art History. With a passion for all art forms, in her spare time Megan enjoys painting, printmaking, and glassblowing. In June of 2010, Megan interned with the non-profit organization, Young Audiences; learning the behind the scenes of arts integration in Maryland schools, supporting the Education Director with office work, as well as organizing and attending artist workshops and classroom activities. Later in 2010, Megan gained the position of School Age teacher for Play Centers Inc., implementing before and after school programs, assisting children with homework, leading students in art activities, as well as encouraging social and physical activity through games, sports, etc. Megan has enjoyed volunteer work at a local animal shelter as well as Baltimore's ARTSCAPE and more. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, gaining a love for horseback riding, kayaking, and the great outdoors, Megan currently lives in Towson, MD where she is currently employed with Babikow Greenhouses as their Graphic Designer. About Mai-Ly Nguyen
Mai-Ly Nguyen will be graduating from Towson University with a BS in Art Education, Maryland Certification K-12, with honors. Proud of her Vietnamese and American heritage, Mai-Ly embraces her bi cultural identity through her detailed oil paintings and cooking endeavors. With a love for the beach and travel, cats, and color, Mai-Ly is excited for her future in teaching.
